Hello there, dear readers!
I played a show with Stewart last night and boy am I tired. It was fun and we played a bunch of songs. We did the show without even rehearsing for it. The last time we got together was July somethingth for a show in Rockaway beach.
Been playing guitar in a new band we call No Shirt No Shoes No Dice. It is coming along nicely.
That's all for now.

Bonuses
So we all know the economy is fucked. You should be thankful to be employed. I know I am.
I have heard of people complaining that their bonus is going to be half of what they got last year. FUUUUUCK YOUUUUUU!!!* You should be damn thankful to be getting anything at all! But besides that, I think you should be fucking fired and kicked in the neck. I mean, that just really boils my blood.
*As heard in the loudest, angriest death metal scream possible.

We played Smiths songs as if The Misfits had wrote them. Fantastic! We practiced twice and did the show!
40 Seconds/Aniston (1994 or '95 - Christian, help me out here.)
Members:
John Ziga - Guitar/Vocals
Christian McCloskey - Bass
Ryan D'Angelo - Drums
This indie-rock assault force was actually quite good! We played 2 shows. One in John's basement where we had tech difficulties. The other show was so spontaneous! I got a call from John saying something to the effect of, "We're playing a show TONIGHT!" Uh, I happened to be working at the time of the call and still had many hours to go. Yes, I left work to play some rock n' roll! Called Christian, told him the deal, picked him up, got to the Speak Easy in Upper Darby, PA, told the confused doorman that we are in one of the bands, played a highly improvised set! It was awesome. People dug it and were amazed that we made up 90% of it on the spot. KA-POW! Then I went back to WAWA to finish my shift! Ha ha ha!
WAWACORE (1995)
Members:
Christian McCloskey - Drums
Michael Gowdy - Vocals
Ryan D'Angelo - Guitar
This started from Mike making up hilarious lyrics based mostly on his disgust for customers. I believe... I mean, "You want a fucking shorti? I'll slash your fucking face!" Pretty much sums it up. Ha ha ha! We never played a show but we recorded some stuff in Mike's kitchen one sweltering day. What came out sounded like "Fugazi meets Slayer" according to Jeremy Dean and his friend. "Is that double bass?!?" I believe John Ziga was supposed to play with us as well.
The Hotel New Hampshire (1995 -I think)
Members:
Ken Shipley - Guitar/Vocals
Marlon Jones - Bass
Ryan D'Angelo - Drums
A very short-lived indie rock band. We practiced at Nik Sokol's Grandparents' house in Bryn Mawr, PA. Ken runs Tree Records, or at least did. Haven't seen that guy in a looong time. I don't know what happened to Marlon. I think Nik played with us once. I remember Ken and I playing for him over the phone and he was into it. I have some of this on tape that I have to dig up and transfer to the computer. Ken wanted to play shows and have this slide show in the background run a series of old slides. Never played a show. I think I was too busy with school.
Can't remember the name... (1990-91 ?)
Members:
Brian Gilroy - Bass/Vocals (maybe vocals?)
Michael Warfel - Drums
Ryan D'Angelo - Guitar
VERY short-lived hardcore band. I remember not knowing much on guitar and that we couldn't really practice much because Mike's mom couldn't stand the noise. I had this hilarious Marshall micro-stack that you could barely hear over the drums. Actually I don't think we even could but we tried. I sold it soon after we stopped practicing.
Dominion/MPMD (1991-92 ?)
Members:
Christopher MacDonald - Bass
Drew Procter - Vocals
Dino Mancini - Guitar
Ryan D'Angelo - Drums
A cover band where we mostly played Helmet songs! I remember trying some Sepultura and White Zombie songs too.
Sunflower/Raxx/The Unseen/various other names (1987-1995 ??)
Members:
Mark Girondi - Guitar
Ryan D'Angelo - Drums
Christian McCloskey - Vocals
Various other incarnations included:
Adam Corsi - Guitar/Vocals
Michael Gallagher - Guitar
Terence Toy - Guitar
Brian Gilroy - Bass
The ol' high school band. Many mutations and variations occured. Mark, Christian and I played one show with John Ziga filling in on bass. It was John's high school graduation party and I forget the year.

Nice Job!
So, I heard this noise last night, or evening, that sounded like metal shutters being slammed down. I thought it was a little early for the bodega to close but I did not investigate.
Turns out some armored car slammed into a parked car which got crumpled pretty bad and also hit into our landlord's car. The car has pretty bad damage to both ends and was partially on the sidewalk. Nice driving, fuck-face armored car driver! Seriously, it was slick out you fucking idiot.
The weird thing about it is that my car was almost in those exact parking spots. Let me explain, ahem... I had to park across the Boulevard of Death on Friday night - since I got home late from work - and thought, "Maybe I'll move my car over to here." Then I decided against it since it was cold and I was feeling lazy. Glad I didn't move it but it still sucks for the others involved.
Imagine going to your car only to find it smashed up and not drivable.

I need to spruce this blog up!
I hope to post some stuff like art and photos here in the near future. I also need to start up a flickr page. I had a Kodak gallery one but I never bought anything, so it got canceled.

Oh yeah...
I have a blog. I need to redirect this to my site. I'm working on a new site idea for myself. I have no clue when it will be done. Who gives a eff!
